Seamless Soffit & Fascia: Why Custom Lengths Beat the 12-Foot Standard
The industry standard tops out around 12 feet. Here’s why custom lengths up to ~20 feet save you on the install and the callback.
On a long soffit or fascia run, every seam is a place where the line can drift, water can find its way in, and the install slows down. Most suppliers stock material in 10- and 12-foot lengths, which forces seams into the middle of runs that are longer than that — which is most of them.
What custom lengths solve
How long can you go?
We fabricate seamless custom lengths up to roughly 16–20 feet, depending on the profile and shipping. Beyond that, shipping — not the brake — is usually the limit. When you request a quote, tell us your run lengths and we’ll fabricate to suit.
When to spec custom lengths
Any time a run is longer than 12 feet and the line is visible — long eaves, modern flat-fascia details, commercial fascia bands. The material cost is similar; you’re trading a stocked length for a fabricated one and removing a seam in the process.
